These fabulous riding boots would be worn with the formal riding habit of the well-dressed Victorian equestrienne. Made to order with the highest quality leather, canvas lined, cotton canvas laces, wood stacked heel, rounded toe, leather sole. These boots are in exceptional antique condition with plenty of life to wear, label is La France- a US-based company located near Central Park in Manhattan from the late 1800s thru 1920 or so. Early 1900s, no marked size but estimate 7-71/2, please check the following measurements taken: Inside toe to heel: 8 inches; outside toe to heel: 9 ½ inches; heel: 1 ½ inches; height: 8 ½ inches: sole: 3 inches; ankle: 9 ½ inches.
