Tallow Baby Balm

What is tallow? Tallow is rendered beef fat.

I know, I know. It sounds weird to use beef fat for your skin, but once you try it you'll understand why people rave about this stuff!

I use this TALLOW BABY balm for all our toddler's moisturizing needs. This balm is made of just tallow and olive oil. Real ingredients, real simple. I love the simplicity of the ingredients because I can feel confident that what I'm putting on my baby's skin isn't going to cause any harm. I don't have to worry that my toddler may have a negative reaction or accidently find the jar and decide to have a taste. We've all been there, right Mommas?

This balm is made with 100% grass fed AND finished tallow from a nearby farm in Quitman, AR. The farm uses regenerative farming practices that help build soil health and ecosystem balance. When using tallow on the skin you need to use a small amount of liquid oil to make the tallow spreadable. Without it you would not be able to get the tallow out of the jar without a hard utensil and some force. It's quite hard! For the liquid oil in the TALLOW BABY balm we have opted for 100% ORGANIC cold pressed single origin olive oil.

We have chosen not to add any essential oils to this balm. I've found that many babies, mine included, react negatively to fragrance of any kind at a young age. We want this balm to be safe to use straight from birth so you don't have to worry about keeping separate skincare products for your little ones.
