We’re Laurie and Abbie, the mother-daughter duo behind Étoile Antiques.
Here are five facts to get to know us:
1. Laurie owned an antique shop for 28 years in Houston, Texas.
2. Abbie gained a love for all things vintage and antique because she grew up in her parents’ antique store.
3. Laurie loves mid-century architecture and lives in a cool 1963 modern ranch with terrazzo floors and a pagoda style roof.
4. Abbie’s passion for old things goes beyond antiques – she’s a librarian with a passion for preserving history.
5. Even though we live eight hours apart, we enjoy thrifting and antiquing when we get together.
