About EthansGlassVogue
Through the Acrylic Glass: My Artistic Evolution
Born in the enchanting town of Alton in 1992, my name is Ethan S. From an early age, I was fascinated with colors and shapes, often finding myself engrossed in sketching or painting. As I grew older, this fascination evolved into a passion for art, a passion that was shared and nurtured by my younger siblings, Richard and Elizabeth.
After finishing my education, I had a deep urge to do something meaningful with my art. I wanted to create a space where art could be felt and experienced on a profound level. This is how the idea of “EthansGlassVogue” came to be.
In 2020, I opened my Shoppy Store with a combination of personal savings and a modest loan. Initially, the shop exhibited various art forms, but what caught everyone’s eye were the acrylic glass wall paintings. They were a unique blend of abstract and realism, creating intrigue and fostering conversations.
My brother Richard, who had always shown a knack for painting, became my assistant and soon my artistic collaborator. My sister Elizabeth, an interior designer, brought her understanding of space and aesthetics into the shop. Together, we transformed “EthansGlassVogue” from just a shop into a vibrant, interactive experience.
But I always believed that innovation was crucial to growth. So, I started experimenting with different materials and techniques. Then, I came across a supplier selling 10 mm thick acrylic glass panels. An idea popped into my head – using these panels could add an exceptional depth to the paintings, making them more vibrant, more lifelike.
After a long series of trials and many late nights, in 2023 I managed to perfect the new technique. The result was nothing short of breathtaking. The first painting I created for these thick panels was “Dance of Dawn” a surreal depiction of a sunrise over Alton. The town’s reaction was overwhelming – people were awestruck by the vividness and detail of the painting, and the popularity of “EthansGlassVogue” began to grow.
The shop stands as a testament to innovation, perseverance, and the love for art. As for me, I continue to strive, to innovate, and to create. Art is not just my passion, it’s my life. Today, “EthansGlassVogue” is more than just a shop – it’s a dream that I lived, a journey I embarked upon, and a spectrum of my creative evolution. And I hope, in its own unique way, it continues to inspire and spark creativity in those who walk through its doors.
