I have been on Shoppy since 2017. I am not making much money here, but I do get to handle a lot of vintage Sterling Silver. This is my motivation, not the $465 I made one year. I am a one-man show and I do this in my spare time. It is more of a hobby than a side hustle. I buy from online and in-person auctions, pawnshops, estate sales, garage sales and I make 1 to 2 trips per year to Gallup New Mexico to buy from the traders and native Americans directly. Shoppy has changed a lot since I started! I will be here offering what I have offered from the start at competitive prices. This means that I cannot sell globally and that I am restricted to the most reliable form of shipping USPS with insurance. It also means that my margins are very slim to maintain sales. I don’t price gouge, which allows me to handle some beautiful items before they find new homes.
