I’m Isabel, I’m from Lisbon, I’m 45 years old and I live in Ribatejo. I’ve always loved creating clothes, knitting, crochet and sewing, and doing everything that involves handicrafts.
When I was a mother 9 years ago, I decided to quit my job as a real estate consultant and dedicate myself entirely to my baby girl and home. It was during this period that I started to think about creating a brand that was made with articles entirely executed by hand. And my daughter was my main inspiration for many of the articles that came up.
From that time until today, a lot has changed, I learned a lot and grew as a human being, and as a professional.
From my passion for “handmade”, for the creation of garments in a traditional way came B.Coccon, whose mission is to bring quality and comfort to babies, involving them as a “cocoon” of love and tenderness that only articles handmade can provide.
All our items are carefully created and produced by hand, stitch by stitch, line by line with all the care and attention that each piece deserves.
As a person, and naturally as a brand, I have an environmental concern, which intends to be as comprehensive as possible. For now, we have selected our materials carefully, trying whenever possible to work with organic and sustainable products.
We also work with 80% of national suppliers and brands in order to create a circular economy. I believe that working in this way I will be able to contribute to a more balanced future for future generations.
