Yunomi 15 tea bowl, raku bowl, unique handmade ceramic piece, white, orange, blue, gray, ocher enamel, and bare raku make the decor.

Yunomi 15 tea bowl. Raku bowl for drinking loose leaf tea or matcha. This ceramic bowl is a unique piece. I created it, formed it, and scratched it by hand in my workshop in Vendée. I used native clay into which I incorporated chamotte.

Its enamelling was born from the desire to make an abstract painting. White, orange, blue, gray, ocher, black, and bare raku make up their decor.

This bowl is fired in a gas oven and fired twice at 990°. I smoked this bowl with a mixture of shavings from different species of wood and plants (collected beforehand, dried, and transformed by me). The combination of thermal shock and lack of oxygen allowed it to develop these smoking networks and these enamels which are the signature of its raku firing.

This bowl is made with love and with respect for the environment.
