They are individually custom fitted. Information needed from you to deliver this order: your child's thigh round size, waist round size, and rise. Height, weight and age information are optional, but helpful at times. Please leave measurements in notes from buyer section when check out or in conversation if you missed it.
How to measure: Use a tape ruler to measure your child's leg round size at top of thigh without anything on, measure waist round size just at belly button without anything on, and measure rise from belly button through the crotch and up to natural waist, following the couture of the fanny.
Why individual fitting?
I have bought cloth diapers of expensive and well known brand for my daughter once she does BM in toilet. They were made of good materials and well sewn but useless because they leak. They leak because they do not fit. So they were returned. Once my daughter's diapers were dry after nap, she started potty training. To avoid messy urine, I searched hard for training pants and bought several kinds. They had one or more of the following problems: need plastic cover; too hard to pull down by a child, if not impossible; exposed elastics and seams rubbing her skin; too bulky to wear; most annoying: they leaked. They leaked because they were pre-made, they didn't fit my child, especially around leg openings. So I made many trials and versions of my own training pants individually fitted to my daughter. The latest version worked so well that when my daughter didn't go potty in potty but in these pants, she didn't make one spot of urine mess which was all in the training pants. I was so proud that I was talking about them to everyone of my friends, one of them had an Shoppy shop. Here these individual fit waterproof potty training pants come aboard ETSY.
Product details:
Next to skin soft cotton lining makes them comfortable and train your child as children feel wetness when accidents happen. (Disposable pull ups do not train and prolong training time). There is none seams or edges anywhere in the pants to annoy your kid's skin.
Microfiber terry (MF) draws and holds liquid in. MF is 100 times finer than human hair, containing 90000 microfibers per square inch, absorbs as much as 8 times of water of regular fiber and dries fast.
The outer PUL makes them waterproof. So urine does not soak your kid's long pants, socks, shoes, floor, car seat, high chair, furniture, or daddy's lap.
These pants save your and your angel and hero's days. It did for ours. After I made these pants for my daughter, When she went potty in these pants, she did not make one spot of urine mess which was all in the training pants. I wish I had created these pants at the very beginning of my kid's potty training, so I did not need to prompt my kid frequently to go potty or I would not have become mad when my child had protested my promptings and did it in her pants only seconds later. Prompting drives kids and parents stressful. With these pants, my past pain and hard work, your convenience! No mess, no confrontational parents-child relationship, no stress, but potty power soon! Look at the experiment I did with my kid's pants on our couch by pouring water in, not a single spot on sofa. Seeing is believing.
The fact that they are reusable is worth every penny. If a child uses 3 disposable pants a day (at least I'd say), it's 91.5 pants a month (3 X 30.5 = 91.5), it's 549 disposable pants in 6 months. You are definitely saving hundreds of dollars by using reusable ones, not to mention the fact that you can avoid adding hundreds of disposable pants in landfill. That's one way to make a difference on earth.
Laundry and care: Cold machine soak/hot wash/cold rinse/dry in medium to high heat with inside out(No bleach, no softeners, no rash cream).
