Washingtonia robusta, commonly known as the Mexican Fan Palm or Skyduster, is a striking, tall palm that creates an iconic silhouette in any landscape. With its slender trunk and wide, fan-shaped leaves, this palm is perfect for adding a tropical feel to your garden.

The Mexican Fan Palm is well-suited to warm climates and thrives in full sun. While it is drought-tolerant once established, it appreciates moderate watering for optimal growth. This palm is hardy down to 20-25°F, making it suitable for USDA Zones 9-11.

Orders will be processed and shipped within 1-2 business days. We have heat packs available for purchase with your order if you expect freezing temperatures the week your plant is shipped. The pot or rootball will be specially packed to prevent loss of moisture during the shipping process, but will still need to be unwrapped, and watered-in directly upon arrival to prevent further stress. Use caution when unpacking plants with sharp spines or thorns. Keep in a shady location protected from the sun and wind if not immediately transplanting.

Plants can experience some stress during shipping and may experience a few damaged or yellow leaves. However, if the plant has sustained significant damage, please report the damage within seven days of delivery, including photographs of the damaged plant, and we will contact you as soon as possible. We will not accept responsibility for damaged plants once they have been transplanted.
