OPDC (On Point Design Center) Item OPDC-0100. RARE, Vintage Studio Silversmiths Etched green pyramid pedestal cake plate from their Grecian Collection was made in Germany. There is also a matching vase and large bowl that goes with this set online. All pieces average about $60 each, when you can find them. I could not find a complete set, only one listing for the bowl and one for the vase. This large, pedestal cake plate is 12.75” in diameter and stands 3” high. It's heavy and weighs 4 lbs. 14 oz. It is a beautiful green that glows partly from the stacked glass pyramid-shape that forms the pedestal. Around the perimeter of the plate is etched a Grecian/Roman pattern design. Other uses for glass cake plates like this is for displaying a collection of votives or jar candles. Excellent condition. The photos give the best description on style, color and condition. Online value research: $40-$75. Note: I only found one for sale after an extensive search, so it’s rare. $30
