Vintage small glass, plastic, metal nautical design hourglass – aged

Charming little lightweight piece found at a New Orleans estate sale…
It is mostly plastic with metal on the base and the hourglass part is glass.
The plastic columns show some wear to the gold coating – pictured
I have seen this before at it said “
5 minutes “
However it has not been tested for accuracy.
