Vintage porcelain salt box with lid.
With an apple and pear motif to the front, it has a lustrous glaze and a wooden lid which is attached with screws and holes drilled into the sides. There is another hole at the upper back which enables it to be fixed to a wall.
Made in Japan in the 1960s.
A lovely vintage functional piece for the kitchen.
Apart from some chips around the foot of the box and a little rust on one of the screws it's in excellent condition for it's age. There are no cracks or crazing.
