Vintage Cast Iron Footed Smudge Pot Fire Starter with Brass Lid, Kettle Cauldron

This heavy cast iron Smudge Pot includes a brass lid and poker. Traditionally these pots contained an oil (whale oil, waste grease or other oil) used to get a fire started. The set would come with a rod with pumice stone attached to it that would absorb some of the oil and then lit with a match and used to get a fireplace or stove fire started.
This pot is 6" tall (excluding the lid), about 5" in diameter at the rim.
The condition is as shown in the photographs. The inside and lid have some rust and patina. The poker rod does not have a pumice stone. Structurally solid.
