Vintage / Antique Original Art Metal Industrial Office File Cabinet – 36 Locking Drawers circa. 1910-1920
Estate office find vintage File Cabinet, There is a similar fixture on the Loudermilk Series..
American Industrial 36 Drawers made by Art Metal Co. Jamestown, NY USA
I do not have the key but the Locking Mechanism Lever does work
Locks all 36 Drawers
Patent dates seen are 1908 & 1911
File Cabinet measures about 72" tall , 32" wide and 16" deep
Drawer storage space is about 10 1/2" tall , 4 1/2" wide and 12" deep
This was salvaged from an old Industrial Office Building and saved from going to the scrap yard
Would make a great piece to any Industrial collector or great vintage apartment aficionado
Some age related wear is present
Discoloring / Fading / Scuffing / Rusting – mainly on the back where is was pushed against the wall
There is on dent in the upper corner ,see pic… sorry it was like that when I found it
