Vintage 1960s SAKS FIFTH AVENUE "The Young Circle" nautical 2-piece Sailor Skirt Suit in navy blue and Creme. Suit is designed in silky soft Crepe fabric with silk lining. Vintage size 8 suit (fits like today's size 6).
~Roomy Creme top has a large sailor collar accented with navy stripes, and front ties in navy blue. Long sleeves have wide cuffs that secure with 4 self fabric shank buttons. Cuffs also have navy stripes decor. Top is lined in silk and has bust darts for shaping and a stretch hemline for comfort.
~Navy straight skirt has a slim waistband and front/back darts for shaping. Hem is finished with satin binding. Back zip and hook closure. Silk lining.
~CONDITION: Top and skirt are in excellent condition. Suit is super clean and odor free. NO holes, tears, spots, stains, discoloration, or fading. All stitching is tight and intact. Colors are bright and uniform. SAKS FIFTH AVENUE tag. Size tag on skirt. Set is so much nicer than pictured.
~TOP measures flat: 15.5" across the shoulders, 19" across the bust, 15"-18" across the hemline, and 23"L from neck to hem. Sleeves measure 20"L from top to end of cuff. Cuffs are 3.5"W.
~SKIRT measures flat: 12" across the waist, 19" across the hips, and 23.5"L from waist to hem.
