Vintage (1938) Double Sided Chinese Checkers Board – King Foo Checkee and the Mill Game – Attractive Boards, One with Dragons

Either side of this double sided game board makes a great display piece. Measuring about 16.5” square, it ihas King Foo Checkee (Chinese Checkers) on one side and Strait’s Mill Game on the other. The Chinese checker board is very bright and colorful. The center star is multicolored and the corners are decorated with friendly looking dragons. The Mill Game side of the board is more subdued and has a very vintage look.It is darker than it appears in the pics. It features a mill in the center and borders of green and gold around it. Directions for both games are printed on the sides of the boards. I think the board is made of pressboard by the Straits Manufacturing Ci. of Detroit Michigan whise slogan was “American Made Toys for American Girls and Boys.” A really nice piece!! You can play it or display it!
