Each piece is about 1/2 inch long and we hand pick a variety of widths so starting and burning is easy.

Fast lighting and long burning. We harvest only from dead trees and process the fatwood by hand. Fatwood has been used for thousands of years to start fires. Naturally soaked in the tree's resin. No chemicals, non-toxic and safe to use. Ignites instantly. Cut from dead pine stumps and trees left after logging, we never cut live trees. Perfect for backpacking, bug-out kits, hiking, prepping, or camping.
