You will receive a caudex plant within the approximate size. Each caudex plant is unique! Your caudex will look similar to the pictures but not the same.
Instruction is applicable for both plants and seeds. There are additional instructions in the pictures. The plants will be dehydrated during transportation and may become wrinkly.
The caudex may be dormant during arrival, to wake up the caudex, soak in warm water for 24hrs with the roots touching the water. Be cautious to not plant the caudex upside down!
This plant cannot withstand frost, please store away in the winter.
Growing Temperatures: 50°F (10°C) – 95°F (35°C)
Ideal temperature to Plant Seeds: 50°F (10°C) – 77°F (25°C).
How to Plant: The caudex naturally helps the plant’s roots to maintain moisture, you don’t need to get a super loamy, water-retaining soil. Instead, opt for a sand-based potting mix that is labeled for use for cacti and succulents, such as a mix with perlite and reptibark.
Potting: Please do not bury the caudex! leave the top of the caudex exposed from the soil. Drainage holes are essential for potted plants.
