Spiked Ear Shackles V2.0

A question was posed to me by one of my dear clients about creating a commission of customized Ear Shackles which got my brain humming.
My Ear Shackle design offers to the wearer a secure way of adorning their stretched ears in both comfort and style.
For these pieces a very punk rock aesthetic manifested itself and I’m very happy with how they turned out!
Hand made as always from jewellers brass with brass studs and chains. Each piece was given a dark antique patina for a fierce appearance!
Highly unique and found no where else!

Details:
Approx 2-5/16” tall
Approx 2-1/4” wide
Approx 37 grams each.
Each Shackle has an 8ga insertion Pin which is secured upon the rear with an o-ring. These pieces could be worn simple through the earlobe themselves or may be worn through eyelets depending upon their size and style of course. See the photos for examples of both.

*the antique patina will lighten slightly over time as expected and will enhance the antique appearance of the pieces.
*skin in constant contact with the antique patina could be “stained” and is simply washed off the skin.
*each piece is a unique work of wearable art and while exceedingly similar they are not perfectly symmetrical.
*all art is made by me in my home in Canada.
