The natural world never ceases to astound and inspire me. With my paintings, I strive to create an image of beauty and bring some of the outdoors in. I strive to create a window into another world that conjures a sense of calm and reverence for nature.
This listing is for an Original Framed Silk Wall Painting, painted by Laurel Averill. The piece is hand-painted on 100% pure silk. It has been stretched over canvas and sealed with polymer medium, then hand-framed in finished maple. It has been steam-fixed for colorfastness. While some sun is fine, I do not recommend full direct all-day sunlight for fabric art.
