Here is a fabulous set of wooden index card drawers made around the 1940s. There are 2 separate drawers, each have brass label holders with combined drawer pulls for ease of use.
The wood has a beautiful grain, lightened in areas with years of use and the brass label holders have been left with a perfect patina.
The condition is fair, with scuffs and scratches present on the surface/varnish. The drawers run smoothly. It's a unique and characterful drawers for the home or office, with a multitude of storage uses.
