Small Melitta Porcelain Coffee Filter In Sunny Yellow With Embossed Writing – No 101

Lovely, small sunny yellow porcelain coffee filter with "Melitta 101" embossed on the front, for small filters. Great for brewing coffee the old fashioned way (it's coming back in vogue!). The vibrant yellow goes with everything and is perfect to add a retro touch to your kitchen. Takes 101 sized coffee filter papers (or of course muslin can be used, if coffee filters are difficult to get hold of).

Melitta Bentz invented and fabricated the well known paper filter in 1908, after becoming dissatisfied with the methods used, leaving grains in the coffee and losing flavour, I don't known when these lovely porcelain coffee filter holders came into being, but they became very popular and are now an essential element to a retro kitchen look,

Makes a nice gift for the coffee lover too.

Please note my shipping costs are just that – I use recycled boxes where possible but bubble wrap, fuel and time are not included in the shipping to keep costs down for you, the customer. I am happy to reserve items until I've worked out the final cost. in any event, I do refund shipping differences.

I use La Poste for small packets up to 2kg, and economy (but reliable) courier Mondial Relay or Happy Post for bulkier/heavier items. Everything is tracked for peace of mind.

Mondial Relay is used for domestic shipping for most items.
