Sling jumping spider temporary home

Sling jumping spiders are super small and until they molt and get bigger, they need a smaller space. Putting them into too large of an enclosure while they are babies can be dangerous. If their space is too big, they won’t be able to efficiently hunt their food. So it’s typically safer to put them in a sling enclosure until they grow a little, and this little space is perfect. It gives them enough room to roam, plenty of climbing enrichment & a space for their food.

This temporary enclosure is decorated with a safe and natural sphagnum moss mat, plastic feeder dish, resin glow mushroom, plastic plant, fake flowers glued to the side so your little one has climbing enrichment & it comes with a round hide, attached to the top. The hide has a peek a boo view from the top so you can always see how your baby is doing. Comes with holes poked small enough so that your spider gets sufficient air but small enough that fruit flies cannot get out.

Information about bottom opening enclosures:
Spiders tend to hang out and build their hammocks towards the top of their enclosures. These enclosures open from the bottom so you don't ruin their hammock if you should need to open their enclosures.
