We're pleased to offer a beautiful wheel thrown mixing bowl, signed by the artisan. This sturdy mid-sized pottery batter bowl features an attached handle, spout for easy pouring and a short foot. It has a beige underglaze with brown speckles and a sky blue interior glaze which extends over the top of the bowl and handle. The sides have hand painted abstract flowers in brown and blue. The bowl is finished in a smooth salt glaze and feels sturdy and balanced. The bottom of the bowl is signed by the artist.

This large serving bowl is about 7.5" wide at top rim and 4.5" deep. It is in excellent condition without any chipping or cracks. Some surface scuffs on interior from utensils or having had other bowls stacked in it. There are variations in the glaze which is something that is expected in studio pottery items and gives the bowl character and charm. Please see all pictures for overall condition and details.
