What effect does a salt crystal lamp have on our health
Whether and to what extent salt crystal lamps have a positive effect on our health has not yet been sufficiently researched scientifically. Nevertheless, many reports and the fact that the orange lamps are now also used in hospitals or meditation facilities indicate that we benefit health-wise from their pleasantly warm light. The following positive properties are said to be associated with salt crystal lamps:
Warm light that has a beneficial effect on emotional well-being
Relaxation-promoting light
Perceived excess temperature
Stress reduction in the form of calming
Improving the air we breathe
Basically, the positive effect of the salt stone lamp can be extended to three areas:
The effect of the lamp color,
The effect of light and
The ionizing effect (improvement of the air).
Since the salt crystals have different shades of pink, they can produce white, pink, yellow, orange and red light. All of these colors are also used in color therapy because they have a positive effect on the psyche and our organism. White light, for example, promotes concentration, while orange light promotes creativity and joie de vivre. The salt crystal lamp is also said to emit light of a certain wavelength. This monochromatic light is also used successfully in medicine. However, it has not yet been confirmed whether the effect of the salt stone light has a similarly positive effect.
In terms of the general improvement of the air, the salt crystal lamp is said to have an ionizing effect. It is assumed that the lamp enriches the air with negative ions, thereby neutralizing it and ensuring a positive indoor climate. Electrical devices in particular are balanced by the salt stone lamp and can therefore no longer disturb the human body. This has a positive effect on our sleep and can prevent headaches, among other things.
