Our organic, all-natural pinecones are hand dipped in undyed vegan soy wax for a long, clean burn. We harvest our pinecones from the longleaf pine trees on our property that are over 20 years old. We only use organic practices on our land and always have as we want our home to be a safe and welcoming environment for our family and friends.

Our pinecones are first dry baked in our oven to destroy any pests, molds, or fungus that may naturally be present on/in them. We then hand dip them in soy wax and allow them to air dry.

The pinecones will vary in height and circumference as these are a natural product. They range in height from 3" – 4" and 1 1/2" to 2" wide at the base. The color of each pinecone also varies slightly.

As with any wax covered product, keep them away from heat until you're ready to burn them. Do not use them as candles. To light, strike a match or light a lighter and hold the flame at the base of the pinecone. It will quickly catch and the fire will spread up the cone. Do not leave fires unattended, and please check for any local burn bans before lighting a fire starter.

We package our pinecones using shavings from our woodshop. Shavings pictured are from untreated hard maple, but may vary (ash, alder, walnut, etc.) based on what projects we're working on at the time. These shavings are untreated and can also be used for bedding or kindling. Waste not, want not.
