Pair (2) Antique Vintage French Linen Red Kitchen Torchon Towels Mono MB

From the south of France, fabulous pair (2 towels) of antique linen kitchen towels. Yummy nubby floppy home spun linen in a lovely warm oatmeal color with red chain stitch boarder. I just adore the large hand embroidered monogram MB with the darling small white flower detail. Dating from the early 1900's. * Please note these seem to have been embroidered with monogram on the back of the towel, if you look closely at photos they show this. To me adds to the charm just wanted to point it out!

Condition: They seem unused and will soften more and become floppier with washing and use. They did have some storage marks along fold line that mostly washed out well but a tiny bit remains, see last photo.

Approximate measurement: 25” X 30”

Wonderful to us as is in the kitchen or appropriate for re-purposing for your many creative projects!
