Every mitt and potholder is designed with multiple layers of heat-absorbing batting and fabric, ensuring a safe and burn-free use. These handcrafted sets are not only unique but also extremely durable. Their durability stems from the metal fibers (insul-bright batting) that effectively trap heat from hot pans. While they are heat-resistant, it's important to prioritize safety when dealing with very hot items.

The oven mitt with lining measures 12" x 6" and boasts extra thickness from layers of insul-bright, cotton batting, and premium cotton fabric. It features quilting on both the outer and lined fabrics and includes a hanging loop for convenience. The lining is an creamy green 100% cotton fabric. Each oven mitt takes over a hour to quilt, cut and sew.

The potholder, created to match the oven mitt, is approximately 7.25 inches square. It has a light green 100% cotton backing that ensures thickness, durability, and flexibility.
