Orange Reindeer moss-Preserved lichens | 1 OR 2 oz bag | Soft reindeer moss

Beautiful Soft and fluffy orange reindeer moss. (These are actually a lichen) Reindeer moss tends to dry and may become brittle if the interior relative humidity falls below 40%. It will remain soft and pliable above 40% RH.

You will get a bag filled with 1 or 2 Oz bag. Laid out 2 oz bag is about a 5" x 10" square.

Deer foot lichen comes in smaller pieces unlike its cousin the reindeer moss lichen. You can see the sections are like deer hooves small sections usually in a clump but also shown here in individual sections.

There may be some small bits of pine needle in the moss which is just natural from where it grows. It is hard for me to remove every piece and still offer this great price.

This is real moss but is preserved now so NO WATER IS NEEDED to keep them alive.

NOTE: It is not recommended to mix LIVE & Preserved moss/Lichens together as this will cause mold and kill the live moss.

Preserved can be used in orbs with air plants or placed on the rocks of succulents etc.
