𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴!

Ｓｐａｎｉｓｈ Ｍｏｓｓ – Spanish moss belongs to the Tillandsia genus of bromeliads. However, unlike most epiphytic Tillandsia which have roots that act as anchors, Spanish moss does not have any roots at all. Many epiphytes have roots that anchor them to their host tree. Instead, Spanish moss uses tiny scales on its leaves and its curved structure to cling to its host tree.

🌱𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:
These are LIVE plant designs. They are a type of Tillandsia air plant, called Spanish Moss.
(But you can name these cuties whatever you'd like).

This is a very hardy form of Tillandsia usneoides. This air plant stands out from the rest with it's beautiful grey “leaves.”

*PLEASE NOTE: Moss is likely to have some brown parts in the center. This is natural from growing in clusters. The brown leaves are older parts of the plant cluster.*

🌱𝗦𝗶𝘇𝗲
—Small Shell Size: 2"-3" inches
—Small Moss Length: 5.5"-6.5" inch height x about 3" – 4" inches wide

—Medium Shell Size: 3"-4" inches
—Medium Moss Length 6"-8" inch height x about 3.5" – 5" inches wide

—Large Shell Size: 3"-4" inches
—Large Moss Length 7"-10" inch height x about 5" – 6" inches wide

—Extra Large Shell Size: 3"-4" inches
—Extra Large Moss Length 10"-14" inch height x about 7" – 8" inches wide

Each plant is chosen to fit its shell, so there will be slight variation in the plant size. Plants will continue to grow in their shells.

🌱 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲:
— Plants will need to be thoroughly soaked once to twice a week. 💦
— Plants will thrive in bright filtered light. 🌤️
— Plants will also need fertilization every so often, can be a specific airplane fertilizer, aquarium or rainwater.

Each order also comes with a care card to refer to.

Each order is packaged in a cardboard shipping box, usually with ALL recyclable packing materials.
I do, however, always reuse any packing materials that I may have received in the mail myself.

🌱 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀:
Each design is handmade, so please allow at least a couple of days for creation. I do my best to get the orders created within 1-5 days, but depending on the queue can take me up to 2 weeks. I do not ship Friday-Sunday.
