Start a wet specimen collection or add to your growing collection with this set of 1, 2, 3 or 6 real preserved wet specimens. These specimens also make a great gift for teachers or a unique present for science-loving friends! Each set will include an assortment of insect, mammal, bird, and/or aquatic-related specimen(s), same or similar to those pictured, with no duplicates. I have a large variety
of specimens available and am regularly searching for and including new specimens in my mystery collections! If place a second order, please be sure to message me with what was in your first package so your new package won't have any duplicates.

The set of 6 specimens with Display Rack option will include 6 specimens plus a display rack that is 2-3/4" tall x 7-3/8" wide x 1-1/4" deep with 7/8" diameter slots. The display rack holds 6 specimens. The display rack is available in Black or White.

The set of 3 specimens +display rack is also available.

Each specimen is preserved in a 1/2oz. jar of 70% rubbing alcohol. Each specimen will include an identification label.

As an urban farmer, I raise chickens, quail, rabbits, bees, etc, and unfortunately, not all survive into adulthood. After a local teacher requested some preserved specimens from me for teaching purposes, I realized that specimens can make great educational pieces for the classroom which is how I got my start on Shoppy.

Since then I have expanded my selection to include specimen sets for collectors and those interested in oddities for themselves or unique gifts for friends.

Contents of specimen containers are toxic and flammable. Do not consume and do not place near heat sources. If swallowed, contact poison control or call 911. Keep out of reach of children.

Specimens come with a 90-day warranty, covering any noticeable deterioration. However, preservation can continue indefinitely in the right conditions. Do not put in direct sunlight, keep at constant room temperature, and do not move the container frequently. The 70% isopropyl alcohol should be replaced if it becomes discolored.
