Mimosa tree is small, deciduous tree that grows to a height between 20 and 30 feet. It has unique green, fern-like leaves, which close slowly at night and during rainfall. The tree produces showy and fragrant pink flowers that grow throughout the summer months.
The Mimosa is a wonderful, fast-growing tree that’s a fantastic drought tolerant shade tree for the center of your garden, or to block the hot afternoon sun coming into a south or southwest-facing window.
