Large Vintage Aluminum Hand Hammered Tray By Rodney Kent | Floral Aluminum Platter

Aluminum dining and gift ware gained in popularity during the 1930s through the 1950s. The Rodney Kent line, created by Stanley Gelford, was named after two streets near his office: Rodney and Kent. This collection featured various serving pieces crafted from an aluminum and manganese alloy, with most items adorned with charming tulip designs.

This platter, complete with the tulip design, is ideal for serving vegetables and dips or chips and salsa with its raised rim and round center well for a sauce or dipping dish.

In good vintage condition with some, but very little tarnish (see pictures).
