Large Purple AGEE insulator, Purple glass insulator, AUSTRALIAN glass insulator

A beautiful old "AGEE" (represents AUSTRALIAN GLASS) skirt embossed Australian glass telegraph line insulator. Embossed "AGEE." Nice rich Royal Purple color! Neat "bell" shaped style. Very unusual to find the two power flashover marks on this insulator. Both of these marks show as light iridescence over purple, one as vertical strip to left of AGEE, and the other appears as a triangular mark, over the last E in AGEE. This insulator stands 5" high. An impressive larger style, color and shape to add to your insulator collection! The color is authentic, NOT stained, irradiated or treated in any way.

Condition: Very good condition, no chips or cracks, no repairs and nice clean glass. Two approx 1/16" sized pings on back dome, and two at skirt. Slight rough spot at base mold line. If you would like more photos, just ask! As with everything else in my shop, all original and authentic.
