Large cherub statue with crown. This is a very special cherub that I created with the crown in red, white and blue for my love to my country the USA. All my cherub statues are created to appear as aged very old plaster/ cement pieces. This piece measures 17" tall (maybe a bit more) with crown. 9" wide and 10" deep.
I feel that my cherubs are not only home decor but also art and heirloom pieces. I started creating these over 14 years ago and each one is unique in it's appearance, jewels and crown. Well over 900 and I still use my own paints, plaster mixtures and my own aging patinas. I receive them as a smooth gray resin mix and give them the texture and depth you see.
My crowns are a passion and every single one is unique and never duplicated. The center has been embellished in very special high quality vintage jewels and at the top sits a silver Eagle. The trim is also high quality and the only brand I will use. I do have my signature pieces, a heart is a heavy silver metal heart with a matching jewel that goes with the crown, my old rusted keys and a a big aged cross. I add pearls for some shabby charm which I have stuck with all these years. My cherubs are very collectible and I have customers who love to put 3 or 4 together.
