This print features a koi fish transposed over the forest-rimmed lake in which it lives.

Every stage of the production of this print was done by hand: the original drawing, the carving of the lino, the rolling of the ink, the burnishing of the paper to take the impression, and even the cutting of the mat that was used to frame the print.

This is print #2 of the first edition of the "Koi Fish" linocut, and this listing is for this specific print, mat, and frame. The print that you see in the product images is the print that you will receive. It is signed, numbered, and dated on the front of the print. The print comes in the frame with the custom mat. The frame has an acrylic panel instead of glass (so it cannot shatter in transit). The artwork is an 8×10 inch image placed in an 11×14 inch frame. The image is printed on archival Rives BFK paper.
