My Handmade Wood Art Wall Clock offers a unique, artistic aesthetic that is absolutely one-of-a-kind! It is also low-maintenance, as it is powered by a battery rather than winding its gears.

More than just a timepiece; it's a statement of craftsmanship and elegance. Made from domestic red oak and aromatic cedar as well as African canary wood and niove, it literally has no finish applied–truly allowing the natural beauty of the different woods to come through. It has a fairly low profile, hanging approximately 2" off the wall. There is an hour hand, a minute hand, and a second hand. Again, a battery powers the timekeeping and it and a magnet power the pendulum. I purchased the clock face for use in this clock, and it is a beautiful metal face with an exquisite design.

DURABILITY AND CARE
This clock is built to last, designed with both durability and style in mind. Left on a wall, it will last for ages. The battery can easily be changed, and the quartz clock mechanism can also be swapped out by me, you, or a clock repair person should it ever stop working properly. There is no need for a finish, since finishes attempt to keep water or oil off the object, and those goals are not relevant to a wall clock. You could, however, apply some kind of furniture or cutting board oil if you wish to make the grain really pop.
