The Construction Phase !!!

It all starts in the garden. We sow the seeds and we get the gourds. Plants are cared for. We are waiting for the drying process, which takes about 6 months. When the gourds are ready, the design phase begins. Everything inside is emptied first. It’s outer surface is cleaned. The designs are drawn with a pencil. Beads are added to the drawn patterns. Varnish is applied to protect the surface of gourds. Thus, the life of gourds doubles. Some products can be made in paint when necessary. The latest electrical parts are added. Now our decor lamp is ready !

Each one is uniquely designed and will add a calm serenity to any room. Growing in many parts of Anatolia and the world, the gourd is an annual plant. There are various shapes and sizes. Usually the stem is narrow and the bottom is fat. In the past, it was used for ornamental purposes or as a water container by emptiing it. Because of this use, the plant has been named as a gourd. The usage area of gourd is very wide. Today, gourd lamp is used in making ornaments and sculptures. Gourds are naturally grown products, each one is different, they may vary in size and shape and are hard (not soft).

The lamp is very easy to disassemble and install. The gourd I choose for this design will have approximate dimensions of about 30-35 cm high and 17-20 cm wide. All lamps come with natural wood base, cable, on / off switch and an electrical plug.

The wooden base with electrical socket and cable is included in the price. The cable output is compatible with EU (CE) standards.
