Easy latching door hook – latches door in the open position as you open it. To close the door, simply turn the handle and close.

– No need to modify door with any holes or fixings at all.
– Prevents door handle being damaged against masonry wall (for example).
– No need to hold door and latch it open with another hand, or bend down to do so.
– Latch can be rotated to stow position, for example for over-winter.
– Requires drilling of one hole to affix to wall with SUPPLIED stainless steel screw and wall plug.

– Listing is for 1 HandleStay. If you require more than 1 and order all at once the P+P charge remains the same.
Please Note:
– Some styles and sizes of door handle will not be compatible with this latch. If in doubt, please enquire.
– Your door will need to open against a wall or similar feature, within 28mm (or less) of it per the dimensioned diagram shown, to allow suitable latch hook installation. Again, if in doubt, please enquire.
– HandleStays are not sprung and instead rely on gravity, and so need to be installed in the orientation shown.

I'm a professional Mechanical Engineer and designed this as I had a need for one and couldn't find a good solution. Various people who've used it agreed it worked really well and commented that it should be available to others too, so here we are…!
