A pack of five (5) blacksmith-wrought nails, made by hand, the same way they were made for centuries before nails were made in factories. These have a traditional head with 5 facets, made by angling the hammer as the head is finished. Each is unique, and they create a beautiful, timeless look that can't be matched by screws or modern machine-made hardware.
Traditional wrought nails have a tapered square cross section and create a strong wedging action when driven in, which makes them far tougher to pull out than modern nails. They hold almost as tightly as wood screws when properly installed. (Pre-drill your holes to avoid splitting.) They can even be "clinched", or bent over on the back side, to permanently lock them in place.
Sold by length, sizes available from 1" to 3" shank. Lengths vary +/- 1/4"
