Hand Carved Spatula. Beautiful Warm Black Cherry Grain And Color! Nice Angled Shape, 12-Inches Long

This is a sturdy 12-Inch Black Cherry spatula. The blade is aroiund 3 5/8-inch wide at its widest point. I like the stylish "V" shape of the spatula. I also like the sturdy handle and the warm Black Cherry color. I prefer wood spatulas because they don't scratch the pan! This handy good-looking spatula will be around for years.

I make my spatulas one at a time by hand so there will be slight variations from the tool pictured. There will also be slight variations in grain and color.

These spatulas came from a tree in our woodlot here in Central Iowa. It was worked down by hand and then was sanded smooth to 400 grit. After which I raised the grain and re-sanded. They were then treated with food grade mineral oil and finished with a food grade beeswax/carnauba wax formula. A complimentary small tin of food safe beeswax/carnauba wax is included as well as a small bottle of mineral oil to keep it looking sharp.
