Hallmark’s Marjolein Bastin Blue Jay Tea Light/Votive Candle Holder Lantern

This is a lovely Hallmark tea light/votive candle holder lantern which features a beautiful Blue Jay and has Marjolein Bastin’s signature on the base.

Marjolein Bastin, born in 1943 in the Netherlands, is a nature artist, writer, children's author, and illustrator. Her beautiful nature illustrations are popular all over the world. A Hallmark Cards designer discovered her artwork while on a trip to the Netherlands in the early 1990s. Bastin began creating a line of artwork for Hallmark in a 1994 book called Nature's Sketchbook. The line included stationery, greeting cards, home décor items, gifts and more. This Hallmark line has been among the company's best-selling offerings.

The candle holder lantern is made of metal with a copper colored matte finish and a glass insert. The blue jay is attached with a screw from the bottom of the lantern and is initialed MB.

It measures approx. 11” H x 5 3/8” bottom diameter.
