Griswold #7, 744, Slant "ERIE" Cast Iron Long Griddle

Very nice Griswold No. 7, 744, Slant Logo, "ERIE" cast iron skillet. Made in Erie, Pennsylvania by the Griswold Manufacturing Company from 1906-1916.

CONDITION: Griddle is in very good antique condition. It has a slight wobble at the 7 and 2 o'clock positions with "ERIE" facing towards you. Corrected by 2 index cards. Cooking surface is smooth and in excellent condition. Lines on logo are crisp and clear. There are several small isolated spots of pitting on the bottom typical with age (please see pictures).
Griddle does not spin, has no cracks, rust, or repairs. Please see photos as part of description.

RESTORATION: This vintage piece of cast iron has been carefully cleaned to bare iron using a combination of electrolysis, lye, and vinegar. It has been seasoned with 4 layers of grape seed oil at 500 degree for a deep, beautiful, patina finish.
