Gorgeous on the counter but a true classic workhorse! Our new style mortar and pestle has a timeless shape, perfect for ANY style kitchen! These can range in color from almost pure, vein-less black to heavily veined light grey, all within the same grade of marble. You can note some of these variations in the pics as well as in the difference in the pestle in some of the pics. We have become quite enamored by the functionality of a great mortar and pestle set and this one certainly fits the bill! Perfect size to leave on the counter when not in use.

Each set comes with 4 oz of our coarse grind Himalayan Salt. An excellent grind to work your herbs and spices into and also serves to cure your mortar! We include information on curing, care and cleaning as well as recipes in this kit!

The mortar (bowl) is 4.5" in diameter and 3.5" high and has a protective pad on the bottom. The pestle is 5.5" long. The mortar's capacity is 1.25 cups.
