The deck rail finish cap provides a clean finished look to your deck rail to post connections. This part would be added during the construction phase of your deck and is not suitable for after construction installation without some disassembly of your deck rail system.

It is highly recommended to predrill a 1/8in hole and secure with a suitable screw as shown in the photos ( screws not included ). Predrilling reduces the chance of part failure at layer lines during installation.

Note : The deck rail finish cap – flange is manufactured using FDM 3D printing technology. Even though every effort is made to ensure our parts are of the highest quality there may be some small flaws and layer lines visible due to the FDM printing process.

This is NOT vinyl, the most common material for 3D Printing is a PLA filament. PLA or Polylactic Acid filament is a recyclable, natural thermoplastic polyester that is derived from renewable resources such as corn starch or sugar cane. The filament is biodegradable under certain conditions with high heat capacity and high mechanical strength.

For additional weather resistance it is recommended to coat this part with exterior UV resistant paint.
