Hand-crafted by Blue Ridge Wood Studio, these pendants consist of a solid Black Anodized Stainless Steel pendant, encased in a hand turned on the end grain Spalted Maple Burl wood shell and placed on a braided leather or stainless steel necklace. Each pendant is individually hand-crafted, so there may be very slight variations from the pendant that is pictured.

The bottom of the pendant unscrews to reveal a small hollow chamber which is used to hold the cremated remains of a loved one or special pet and keep them close to your heart all of the time. To fill your pendant, simply use a very small funnel or if you don't have a funnel you can simply take a small piece of paper and form it into a funnel. Use a toothpick or similar object to gently push the ashes into the chamber. To permanently seal the pendant just add a very small drop of superglue to the threads before screwing on the cap.

Each pendant is approximately 1 1/2" long and 1/2" in diameter. The wood is protected by a hard, durable, and water resistant finish that should last a lifetime. The pendant IS NOT WATERPROOF and should not be worn bathing, showering, swimming, etc.

I have both black and brown 17" leather cords with a 2" chain extender available. I also have 20" Black stainless steel chains as well as split rings for use as a key chain. Please choose the style you would like included with your order.
