The Original Ear Pillow relieves pressure by holding the head just slightly over your existing pillow. The design is so unique because of the way the ear is suspended just above your pillow. It stays full and never goes flat. It is not made of foam. It does not require being strapped to the head, either, and one part suspends the ear away from the pillow while the arms are flexible and can be manipulated to support any pressure points. There are loose parts inside since it is filled with polyfill pellets; I do not think it is a good idea for tiny children, just if it were to get a hole in it. A small child might try to ingest the pellets. Please keep away from small children.
