Cryptocoryne Wendtii, also known as Wendt’s water trumpet, is a popular aquatic plant native to Sri Lanka. It’s known for its hardy nature and its ability to adapt to a range of water conditions. The Bronze variety features beautiful, ruffled leaves that range in color from green to bronze.

Natural Habitat and Origin:
Cryptocoryne Wendtii originates from Sri Lanka, where it grows along shady streams and rivers, either fully submerged or on the banks. It’s a testament to the plant’s adaptability and resilience.

Care Requirements:
Tank Size: Cryptocoryne Wendtii is suitable for small to large tanks.
Water Conditions: Aim for a water temperature between 72-82°F (22-28°C) and a slightly alkaline pH (6.5-7.5). Hard water is preferred.
Lighting: This plant can grow in low to medium light. However, brighter light can bring out more color in the leaves.
Substrate and CO2: A nutrient-rich substrate is recommended for optimal growth. While CO2 is not mandatory, it can be beneficial.
