(FREE Postage Worldwide) – A great compact barometer & thermometer weather station combo from SB Shortland, circa late 1960's
The woodwork has been cleaned and given a lovely protective coat of clear lacquer
The brass bezel has also been cleaned and lacquered, the glass cleaned inside and out. The movement checked and de-fluffed – all seems to be working well!
The thermometer itself is a replacement, but fits the original scale perfectly, and it has been reading well over the past few weeks as I have been keeping a keen eye on it!
The barometer reads air pressure in Inches (InHg) and Millibars – To set correctly, look up local air pressure online and set the needle accordingly via the small screw on the reverse
The thermometer reads temperature in both Fahrenheit and Celsius
