Coffee and Pepper Grinder/Mill Collection

This is our collection of Coffee Grinders and Pepper Mills. All are hardware that comes from a supplier that I use that come highly recommended. All bases are rough hardwood that I either finished on a plane in the case of the coffee grinders or turn on a lathe for the pepper mills. The items here will change as I sell or add items so keep checking! The pictures are of the actual items that are available.

Ambrosia Maple Coffee Grinder. This is made from kiln dried ambrosia maple. The base is 7x7x5 1/2 inches. The grinder is 7 1/2 inches tall. The grinder is a copper toned cast metal that does have some plastic gears and a ceramic grinder. The grind of the beans is adjustable. This grinder comes with very favorable reviews for grind and durablility. The drawer is 4.4x4x1.5 inches. it has been finished with Tung Oil Varnish and top coated with a polyurethane in soft gloss.

Black Walnut Coffee Grinder. This is made from kiln dried black walnut. The base is 7x7x5 1.2 inches. The grinder is 7 1/2 inches tall. The grinder is a copper toned cast metal that does have some plastic gears and a ceramic grinder. The grind of the beans is adjustable. This grinder comes with very favorable reviews for grind and durablility. The drawer is 4.4x4x1.5 inches. it has been finished with Tung Oil Varnish and top coated with a polyurethane in soft gloss.

Ash Pepper Mill. This Pepper Mill is a copper toned antique-style grinder (not antique) attached to an Ash Base that I hand turned on a lathe. Ash has very pronounced grain patterns and is a beautiful wood. The grinder is 8 3/4 inches tall and the base is 2 5/8 inches in diameter. The grinder comes with very favorable ratings from my supplier. It is cast iron with some plastic gears and a ceramic grinder. The pepper grind can be adjusted to your liking. The item comes with care instructions. It is finished with Tung Oil Varnish.

Red Oak Pepper Mill. This Pepper Mill is a brass toned antique-style grinder (not antique) attached to an Red Oak Base that I hand turned on a lathe. The Red Oak comes from a piece of wood that I harvested from our wood lot and was air dried for more that one year. The grinder is 8 1/4 inches tall and the base is 2 1/2 inches in diameter. The grinder comes with very favorable ratings from my supplier. It is cast iron with some plastic gears and a ceramic grinder. The pepper grind can be adjusted to your liking. The item comes with care instructions. It is finished with Tung Oil Varnish.

As with any handmade wooden item, there may be slight flaws and checks in the item. I have never made a perfect item and I know I never will. I have put a lot of time, effort, and love into these items to make them one of a kind. These are dried wood items but can still move and change with changes in humidity and exposure to sunlight. All effort has been made to make sure this is minimal.

Care instructions will be included with all items. These are not dishwasher safe items and should be cleaned with a damp cloth.
